2026 Holiday Workshops
Our popular range of Theatre Holiday Workshops have been running for over 20 years giving young people aged between 4 and 18 the opportunity to have fun-filled school holidays while gaining experience of acting and performing on the stage.
Previous productions and excerpts have included The Addams Family, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Wizard of Oz, Bugsy Malone and more.
SHREK THE MUSICAL – SUMMER youth project 2026
Project dates: 2ND-15th August 2026
The project began back in 2003 and Shrek the Musical will be our 23rd production and will bring 100 young people together to create a truly fantastic show.
Our participants have the opportunity to work with a highly skilled creative team including a professional Theatre Director, Choreographer, Musical Director, and Technical team to create a full-scale musical on the main stage of the White Rock Theatre. Our productions feature a live band, professional lighting, sound, set and costumes.
Audition dates: Tuesday 31 March with recalls on Wednesday 1 April 2026. For anyone aged 8-18.
