Conference & Events Co-ordinator

DEPARTMENT: Event Services
RESPONSIBLE TO: Head of Commercial Sales & Venue Director
HOURS: 20 hrs per week
PAY: £12.50 per/hr

Purpose of Job

The Conference & Events Coordinator is responsible for converting business to achieve the annual budget for the venue and the successful execution of events via the planning & handover period. They are responsible for ensuring that all enquiries are responded to with speed, accuracy & with a focus to build a relationship with the customer, ultimately to result in repeat business and a regular client base.

In many cases the Conference & Events Coordinator will create a first impression of Portsmouth Cultural Trust and the White Rock Theatre for potential business partners, and it is therefore essential that the individual have a confident, friendly and helpful manner.

White Rock SUpervisor

DEPARTMENT: Venue Management
RESPONSIBLE TO: Head of Commercial Sales & Venue Director
HOURS: Casual
PAY: £13.20 per/hr

Purpose of Job

To provide a professional, friendly, and efficient service to the White Rock Theatre customers. Providing service delivery, advice, and assistance on all areas of Front of House operation & bars whilst ensuring compliance to company policies, ‘best practice’ and current legislation.

Supporting the Duty Manager in venue operations and supervising front of house team members. Undertaking Duty Management training and be comfortable undertaking Duty Management shifts.

Contemporary Music Programmer

White Rock Theatre & Portsmouth Guildhall

Part-time: 20hrs per week

Salary: £27k per annum (pro-rata)

We’re looking for a contemporary music programmer for our venues, someone who knows their music, from urban to indie, Afrobeats to jazz and much more. With experience of working with music venues, agents and artist managements.
