Gaming experiences for all ages returns on 7 & 8 February 2026.
Following a sold-out debut in 2025, Hastings Games Fest is back at the White Rock Theatre on Saturday 7 and Sunday 8 February 2026 with gaming experiences for all ages.
This family-friendly event produced by The Guildhall Trust, operators of the White Rock, offers something for everyone, from serious gamers to families looking for a fun day out together.
With sessions running from 11am-4pm on both days, visitors can explore a diverse range of gaming experiences including retro arcade classics, access to a library of over 100 board games to sit down and play, virtual reality adventures, Dabbblezone activities, and Dungeons and Dragons sessions. Plus, families can get hands-on helping to build a D&D set with Lawn of the Dead.

Event Producer Curt Hill comments, “We’re excited to bring this popular gaming festival back for a second year after selling out in 2025. The Guildhall Trust team have created an event that embraces all kinds of games and gaming culture. There are activities for all ages, for casual players and serious gamers.”
Dice Board Game Lounge will bring a library of over 100 of the most popular board games around and give demonstrations of some the newest releases to hit the market. Pick a game, take your place at a table, and start playing. Then peruse their fully stocked shop so you can buy and continue playing your new-found favourites at home.
Providing a dream set-up for every retro arcade enthusiast is Game Over. Relive the magic of your youth and introduce the younger generations to classics such as Pac-Man, Space Invaders, Ninja Turtles, Mario Bros, Street Fighter and more!
East Sussex College and their resident Esports teams will take centre stage, bringing an array of Esports activities and entertainment. Their various teams will be competing in matches in Overwatch 2, Valorant, and Marvel Rivals. There will also be the chance to try to beat the fastest lap from the college’s F1 Williams Sim Racing winner! Bexhill Sixth Form College will be running a live Beat-The-Warrior style challenge with Rocket League and Valorant.
Dabbblezone is back for 2026, and visitors can experience games created by young people, meet Roblox developers, discover how games are built, and try out a selection of titles in VR.
