Paige-Marie Baker-Carroll is the Artistic Director of Are We Left Behind, and Heather Bandenburg, co-producer, helped bring Paige’s vision to life. They both recognised that many young people couldn’t afford university and were missing out on arts education. With this in mind, they set out to bring free arts education directly to their doorstep. Over the past six months, they’ve been offering free education to 16-25-year-olds in Bexhill and Hastings. Now, it’s time for some of these talented individuals to showcase their new skills at ExpressFest: Art for All.

Are We Left Behind is also about queer representation. We believe it’s crucial for people to be surrounded by a diverse range of individuals. For young queer people, it’s inspiring to see others doing well and thriving. For those who aren’t queer, it broadens perspectives and understanding, helping everyone come together as part of a larger, inclusive community.

EXPRESSFEST: ART FOR ALL!… is for anyone who appreciates the arts. Come down to this community event to expand your mind, see lots of talent on display, and feel a sense of community. Good vibes only! 🌟
