The White Rock Theatre offers a range of weekly classes ranging from drama to dance for both adults and children.
We also provide holiday and half-term workshops.

Theatre
Tiddlers Ages: 4-7
Saturday: 9.30am-11am / 11.15am-12.45pm
The White Rock Tiddlers is open to children aged 4-7 years old to introduce them to the wonder of creative play through drama, dance and music with our fantastic Tiddlers tutors.
A great way to introduce rhythm, build social skills and interact with others.
Classes run during term time:
- Saturday 9.30am – 11am, or
- Saturday 11.15am – 12.45pm

Tots Ages: 2-4
Thursday: 10.30am-11.15am
Tots is our parent & toddler group for mini budding performers.
The class is suitable for children aged 2 to 4 years old, and is a great way to introduce them to the wonder of creative play through storytelling, dance and music with our fantastic Tots tutor. A great way to introduce rhythm, social skills, and interact with others.
Classes run during term time:

Theatre Company 1 Ages: 8-12
Wednesday: 5pm-6.30pm
Have fun, make new friends, improve confidence and explore new skills in our brand new class focusing solely on drama for 8-12 year olds.
The first term will focus on learning through creative play, improvisation, and character & script work. Members will work toward s performances at the theatre and externally.
Classes run during term time.

Theatre Company 2 Ages: 12/13-19
Wednesday: 6.30pm-8pm
Aged 13+ and fancy yourself as a budding thespian? Join our theatre company and get serious about drama.
You will explore skills including script analysis, in-depth character work and study different practitioners. Our first term will focus on producing an immersive promenade theatre piece. All members will work towards regular presentations as well as some exciting external performance opportunities.
Classes run during term time.

Youth Theatre Ages: 8-16
Saturday: 10am-1pm
The long-established White Rock Youth Theatre offers fantastic opportunities for 8-16 year olds.
Each Saturday our members work in small groups with a highly-talented and experienced team to train in all performance styles in a fun, relaxed, yet professional environment. From improvisation to musical theatre and filmmaking, we have it all!
Participants have the opportunity to work towards performances at the end of each term, or even enter competitions and perform at external events.
Classes run during term time.
- Saturday 10am-1pm
Terms usually run for 11 weeks.
Masterclass Ages: 8-16
Saturday: 1.30pm-2.30pm
Masterclass is an intense and advanced one-hour theatre tuition class for 8-16 year olds with a different theme each term.
Entry to these classes is via auditions and covers everything from audition technique, to acting for film or preparing for festival competition entries.

Movement & Dance
Musical Theatre Dance Ages: From 12 - adult
Tuesdays: 6pm-7pm
Love Musical Theatre? Love to dance? The perfect class for anyone aged 12 to Adult who wants to learn new skills or build exisiting ones.
Singing
Show Choir Ages: From 8 - adult
If you love musical theatre, pop, Pitch Perfect, and Glee, then this is the class for you!
If singing is your thing, then this is the class for you! Explore harmonies, learn songs from all genres and expand your performance skills. External performance opportunities are also on offer!
Classes run during term time.
- Tuesdays 7.15pm - 8.15pm (ages 13-adult) and Wednesdays 6.45pm - 7.45pm (ages 8-12)
