INTRODUCTION SPACES FACILITIES

Situated in a prime position on Hastings seafront, the White Rock Theatre offers traditional hospitality in breathtaking surroundings, with five event spaces which can be adapted to suit any function like meetings, rehearsals, workshops, conferences, community events, parties, and celebrations.

Our dedicated team can tailor hires to suit your needs and your budget. We can provide technical support (for our PA sound system and lighting) and a Duty Manager to ensure your event runs smoothly.

The Hospitality Team offer fantastic catering services from premium teas, coffees, buffets and full sit-down meals.

Spaces

The White Rock Theatre has five event spaces which can be designed and adapted to suit any functions.

Main Auditorium

The auditorium features a large proscenium arch stage with a full technical setup. Seating is over two levels (Stalls and Circle) and seats in the Stalls can be removed to create a flat floor space.

Sussex Studio

This multi-functional studio room is equipped with sound and lighting, a large area for projection, a fully licensed bar and a sprung dance floor; it is the largest and most versatile of our ancillary rooms and can be used for conferences, celebrations, rehearsals and performances. Set on the lower ground level, the Sussex Studio offers a quiet and private setting for your event. The room is also used as a VIP area for larger groups. 

 

Campbell Room

This small, intimate venue is perfect for a VIP Reception and suited to smaller training sessions, meetings and workshops. Located next to the Sussex Studio, these two spaces can be used together for multi-purpose events.

Café

The White Rock boasts a Café Bar with stunning panoramic views of the newly-opened pier, beyond to Hastings and St Leonards, and the English Channel. Great for meetings, or for a party to enjoy the delicious range of traditional British classics on offer, with a seasonal seaside flavour!

The Circle Bar

Situated on the top floor, this bright, quiet space has beautiful views out across the English Channel and can be combined with the Café Bar if required.
